The ambient scribe platform intelligently attempts to identify the diagnosis codes related to the transcript and medical note generated from that transcript. These are available in the Diagnosis Tab after the note has been generated.

To save physicians' time, these generated diagnosis codes can be sent into certain EHRs with a single click by enabling the feature in the settings menu.

This integration is supported in Veradigm's EHR and Altera Touchworks EHR. (Previously, Allscripts Professional and Allscripts Enterprise)

To enable this integration you must have the SSO Lauch with your EHR instance and turn on the options in the settings menu as been below.

Now the system will attempt to utilize the diagnosis codes the system detected for insertion while sendin g the note to the EHR.

There is sophisticated logic that attempts to match and checks that the diagnosis codes exist in the destination EHR before they will be inserted. If no match is found, the system will reject and not send the diagnosis codes.

This option can always be toggled off if there is a problem sending in certain diagnosis codes, or you can simply delete those diagnosis codes from the text area in the diagnosis tab and hit send again, and it will not send those diagnosis codes in. (Delete all the referenced to that Diagosis code in the diagnosis tab).

Note: We recommend testing this integration for your common workflows before deploying system wide.

If there are failures, please validate your EHR has the latest ICD-10 Codes and decsriptions from your vendor.
